We reserved a pet-friendly spot, nice and clean. The staff also offered our boys a sleeping bed. Nice gesture our boys Sydney and Berlin loved it, and thank you for your thoughtfulness . Parking can be tricky when you are travelling with cats. It's on the opposite side of the hotel and the second level is free. Our experience was terrific!

Stayed here for a few weeks recently, I found it very good. Hotel is in the heart of Banff close to all the best pubs, eateries and public transport options. Rooms are a reasonable size and amenities are adequate. Staff are friendly and housekeeping is performed daily. 4/5 for me.

Lot of these negative reviews shouldn't put you off. I was given free secure parking in the nearby parking lot. You have your own parking space. Beats finding a park when you come back from a day out. No aircon but you are told this. There's two fans and I didn't find the room uncomfortable at all. In the middle of Banff with access to everything. I will book again as I loved my stay.

I came here near the end of October so it wasn’t too busy and having no A/C was not a problem at all since they have heaters. I was allowed to check in my room hours before the set time and I was very grateful for that, so 10/10 on the customer service!! The location was perfect since it was in the heart of downtown.

Good location in Banff, close to everything. Not the coziest, but decent for the price. Free parking is a nice bonus

Located in the heart of downtown Banff you can't sleep closer to the action then at the King Edward Hotel. We stayed in the Queen room which had basic hotel amenities. The room was clean. Points were lost because the bed was quite hard for my personal taste. If you enjoy a firmer mattress then it's perfect. The real selling feature of this hotel is it's location. The hotel is in the heart of it all. I didn't find it loud even for a Saturday night. The staff were friendly, and knowledgeable. The hotel has no luxury amenities like hot tubs or breakfast, however that isn't a problem with the amount of things to do in Banff. We would happily stay again!

Great location in heart of Banff Avenue. staff was responsive and helpful. Wifi was good. Spacious rooms and good bed. AC is not there, that we knew before and after reserving the room so no negatives there too.
